~Absent & Makeup Work/Test Policies ~

 

Makeup Work

• If a student is absent and needs to make up work:

  • Work will be sent home in their binder and can be located the "Homework" sheet protector.​

  • Makeup work will be due 7 days from absent date.

  • Failure to do so will result in a zero.

• If a student is planning to be absent for and extended period of time and/or needs work ahead of time:

  • Please notify me at least 72 hours before absence. Otherwise I cannot promise to send work before absence.​

  • Work will be expected to be turned in 2 days (excluding weekends) upon arrival back to school.

Makeup Test(s)

• If a student is absent and needs to make up a test:

  • Parents must setup a time with the teacher BEFORE or AFTER school to makeup the test. (7:15am or 3:30pm)​

  • Makeup Test requests need to be made with at least 48 hour notice.

  • Failure to do so will result in a zero.

 

***It is important that your student attends school each day (see attendance policy).  Our curriculum is very rigorous and we work bell to bell each day.  There is very little down time and there is very little room to pull students for makeup work or tests. Therefore, will be required to come in either before or after school to make up any or all tests missed due to absences.
